Mimosa is a gallery of "art for home and wear", featuring contemporary fine craft. The jewelry, handbags, fiber, glass, ceramics, etc. are by local as well as nationally recognized artists.
Mimosa, located within the Beekman Street Arts District in Saratoga's historic West Side, opened in 2005 and features work by over 50 artists. Its goal is to show that "art" can be functional and should be used in our everyday lives.
In 2007, owners Michelle and Michael LaLonde expanded the space, more than doubling the size of Mimosa, allowing space to showcase handmade furniture as well as fine art. Solo and group shows of fine art, sculpture and photography will feature established as well as emerging artists from around the country.
